Regulation and laws. This notice provides you with the necessary information
regarding your rights and our obligations, and explains how, why and when we
process your personal data.

are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11732270.We are registered on the Information
Commissioner's Office Register; registration number (ico registration number), and act as the data
controller in the collection, use, storing, protections, and transfer of your

Information That We Collect
Chameleon
Inc Ltd.processes your personal information to meet our legal,
statutory and contractual obligations and to provide you with our products and
services. We will never collect any unnecessary personal data from you and do
not process your information in any way, other than as specified in this
notice.
When applying to be a
Friend the personal data that we collect from you and process is: -

When an individual
contacts us about a private event the personal data we collect, and process is:

How We Use Your Personal Data
Chameleon
Inc Ltd. takes your privacy very seriously and will never
disclose, share or sell your data without your consent, unless required to do
so by law. We only retain your data for as long as is necessary and for the
purpose(s) specified in this notice. Where you have consented to us providing
you with promotional offers and marketing, you are free to withdraw this consent
at any time.
The purposes and
reasons for processing your personal data are detailed below: -
- We collect our Friends’ and clients’ personal
information so that we can fulfil the contract and manage your relationship
with us. For example, we may use personal information to create and manage a Friendship,
set up an online Friendship account enabling you to manage your Friendship and
communication preferences, and in creating and managing a reservation or event booking.
- We may be required to process and share personal data
to comply with statutory obligations, for example in providing CCTV footage to
the police in relation to the investigation of a criminal offence.
- We collect and store your personal data as part of our
legal obligation for business accounting and tax purposes
- We will occasionally send you marketing information
where we have assessed that it is beneficial to you as a customer and in our
interests. Such information will be non-intrusive and is processed on the
grounds of legitimate interests
Sharing and Disclosing Your Personal Information
To provide services
the Chameleon Inc Ltd. may use third party suppliers. On our behalf, as
‘processors’, these suppliers may process personal data. These suppliers have
undertaken to protect that personal data and only process it under our
instructions.
We only share
personal information that is strictly required for the purposes above and take
reasonable steps to ensure the third parties shall only process the personal
information for those purposes.
We may share your

As a Friend of Chameleon, we may also share data with reciprocal clubs in
the setting up of reciprocal visits. This is on request and based upon your
consent.
Safeguarding Measures
Chameleon
Inc Ltd. takes your privacy seriously and takes every
reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure your personal data. We
work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration,
disclosure, or destruction and have several layers of security measures in
place, including secure hosting of our website, data encryption, virus and
malware protection, using an SSL certificate and securing our company network
with FortiGate Enterprise Firewall.
Your information is accessed for the purposes set out above. Electronic
information is stored and processed through secure servers with a maintained
firewall and are password protected. All paperwork records are kept in a
secure, locked area of the Club. Your personal information is electronically
transferred into our database which is password protected.
We make sure that our employees and third-party suppliers, who access
your information to provide you with our services, are subject to strict
contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if
they fail to meet such obligations.
In the case that we have given you a log-in or password to be able to
access your account, you are responsible for keeping these details secret and
are not to share your log-in details or password with anyone else.
Consequences of Not Providing Your Data
You are not obligated
to provide your personal information to Chameleon
Inc Ltd., however, as this information is required for us to provide you
with our service(s) and meet our business obligations, we will not be able to
offer some/all our services without it.
Legitimate Interests
As noted in the ‘How We Use Your Personal Data’ section
of this notice, we occasionally process your personal information under the
legitimate interests’ legal basis. Where this is the case, we ensure that we
have weighed your interests and any risk posed to you against our own
interests; ensuring that they are proportionate and appropriate.
We may process your
data on this basis for the purposes of:
- record-keeping for the proper and necessary
administration of our business
- responding to unsolicited communication from you to
which we believe you would expect a response
- occasionally sending you marketing information where
we have assessed that it is beneficial to you as a customer and in our
interests.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Chameleon
Inc Ltd. only ever retains personal information for as long as
is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet
these obligations. We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal
data (name, address, contact details)
for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.
Where you have
consented to us using your details for direct marketing, we will keep such data
until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.
What Are Your Rights in Relation To Your Personal Data?
You have the right to
access any personal information that

Lodging A Complaint
Chameleon
Inc Ltd. only processes your personal information in
compliance with this privacy notice and in accordance with the relevant data
protection laws. If, however you wish to raise a complaint regarding the
processing of your personal data or are unsatisfied with how we have handled
your information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory
authority. We take our obligations
seriously, so if you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to raise
them with us first, so that we can try and resolve them.

Cookie Notice
